Just a stone’s throw from the Champs Elysées in Paris, the “Bonjour, SHENYANG” conference was held at the Automobile Club de France on October 26.

A large number of participants were invited to discover the beauty and strength of a Chinese city (capital of Liaoning province) whose dynamism, innovation, and culture are its number one assets! In France, the proposed approach was a partnership with lasting and promising objectives.

10月26日，“你好，沈阳”全球推介（巴黎站）活动在距离巴黎香榭丽舍大街仅咫尺之遥的法国汽车俱乐部举行。

此次活动目的是在沈阳与法国之间建立持久而富有前景的合作关系，探索法中两国合作发展的新途径。法国23家机构、49家企业共100余嘉宾参加活动，并通过沈阳经贸代表团的介绍，了解到这座中国城市的历史文化和创新活力！

In an exceptional location

The Automobile Club de France is the world’s leading automobile club. This was behind the first motor show, the Highway Code, and the Automobile Club de France Grand Prix. It is a place of history, sharing, friendships, and kindness.

这次活动是在法国汽车俱乐部进行，这是全世界最重要的汽车俱乐部，是法国最早的汽车展、公路法和汽车俱乐部大奖赛的幕后推手，是一个记载历史、传承友谊的地方。

Shenyang is like Paris : a dynamic city!

Shi Haoran, Director of the Shenyang Commerce Bureau, gave an overview of the city and its development. “Shenyang is the political, economic and cultural centre of north-east China,” he said. “Known and recognized as the cradle of Chinese industry, it is one of the largest industrial cities in the north-east. In China, Shenyang has a major industrial base and is the center for the manufacture of advanced equipment. The city has encouraged industrial innovation for years to come. It is accelerating the modernization of its specific industrial system.

沈阳就像巴黎：一座充满活力的城市！

沈阳市商务局局长史浩然首先介绍了沈阳的城市概况和发展情况。他说：“ 做为省会，沈阳是中国东北地区的政治、经济和文化中心。沈阳也是中国工业的摇篮，东北地区最大的工业城市之一，是中国重要的工业基地和先进设备制造基地。这座城市勇于突破，鼓励自主创新，正在加快构建独具特色的现代化工业体系，开拓创新型的现代化发展。”

An authentic city

Liu Kebin, Director of the Bureau of Culture, Tourism and Broadcasting, also captivated the audience with an original and lively presentation. The Chinese know it, but to date, very few French people do so. The distinctive culture of this capital is marked by its history, industry, and ethnicity. Shenyang has an exceptional range of tourist attractions.

He explained that “Shenyang is a tolerant and open city with a long history and great cultural diversity. The city has a rich cultural heritage. With seven thousand two hundred years of human activity, Shenyang is known as the cradle of the Qing dynasty and the capital of two emperors”.

沈阳：原汁原味的城市

文化旅游广播局局长刘克斌也以新颖生动的演讲吸引了在座嘉宾们。虽然很少有法国人知道沈阳, 但沈阳的确是一座多元文化融合的千年古都。

他解释说：“沈阳是辽宁省省会，城市开放包容，枢纽地位突出、文化底蕴深厚、科教资源丰富、产业基础雄厚。这里有7200年前的新乐文化、2300多年的建城史，被赋予 ‘一朝发祥地、两代帝王城 ‘ 的美誉。”

Tiexi: An innovative district

Zhao Yongsheng, the director of the Tiexi district, presented his district. “Tiexi is a former industrial area in China, rich in historical and cultural resources. In 2022, it was selected as one of China’s top 100 innovative districts. Today, more than 1,300 companies from 40 countries and regions have been set up in this district, including Michelin (France)”.

铁西：创新之区

铁西区区长赵永圣介绍了铁西区的情况, 他说：“铁西是一个历史悠久的工业区，拥有丰富的工业文化资源。2022年，该区入选中国创新型百强区。如今已有来自40个国家和地区的 1300 多家企业落户该区，其中就包括法国米其林公司。”

Shenhe: the central core

Shi Guoqi, the director of the Shenhe district, also gave an interesting presentation. “Shenhe is the central hub of Shenyang. It is a place where the Chinese art of living is expressed. It is not only the financial and commercial centre of north-east China, but also the regional cultural centre, home to the Imperial Palace of Shenyang”.

沈河区区长石国琦也做了精彩的发言。他解释说：“沈河区是沈阳的中心枢纽，不仅是中国东北部的金融和商贸中心，也是沈阳故宫所在地的历史遗址，是中国生活艺术的文化地标，沈河区推动文化与科技、商贸、旅游等产业深度融合。”

Working together to promote clean energy

The main objective of the Équilibre des Énergies Association is to promote the use of low-carbon solutions in the main sectors that emit greenhouse gases, such as buildings and mobility. Équilibre des Énergies is involved in the discussion of legislative and regulatory texts and contributes to their analyses and recommendations.

Brice Lalonde, former Minister and Chairman of Équilibre des Énergies, and Gilles-Rogers BOUTBIEN, Secretary General of Équilibre des Énergies, and Chairman of AVSIEN, were present at the conference, and they proposed Franco-Chinese partnerships for cooperation on clean energy.

共同努力推广清洁能源

法国能源协会的主要目标是在建筑和交通等排放温室气体的主要领域推广使用低碳解决方案。法国能源协会参与法律法规的讨论，并提供分析和建议。

前法国环境部长布莱斯·拉隆德，法国能源协会总秘书长吉尔罗杰·普比安也出席了会议，并提出了中法在清洁能源方面的合作建议。

An action for the future of the planet

Gilles Henry GARAULT, Vice-Chairman of the Société d’Encouragement, wished for the most active future partnerships. He said: “New avenues of cooperation must be explored and developed between China and France. China is currently one of the major powers in terms of research and industrial development. This complementarity between our two economies can target priority sectors where we have common interests and solid expertise: the energy transition, environmental issues, as well as other future developments in the field of nutrition and agriculture.”

为地球的未来而采取行动

法国工业促进会副主席吉勒斯·亨利·迦罗提出中法两国在未来需要建立最积极的合作伙伴关系。他说：“中法之间必须探索和发展新的合作途径，中国现在是科研和工业发展的大国之一，我们两国经济之间的这种互补性可以用于我们拥有共同利益和坚实专业知识的优先领域：能源转型、环境问题、营养以及未来农业等领域的未来发展……”。

Yan Ming, Director of the Xinhua News Agency in Paris, Eric DELAFOY, Director of Communication, Culture, Tourism & Sport (Yvelines Department), Ao Ran, Chairman of the Franco-Liaoning Association and Chairman of ADI International Logistics, also spoke positively about this forthcoming development. Wang XINWEI, General Secretary of the SHENYANG Party Committee, closed the conference by inviting participants to visit SHENYANG.

新华社巴黎分社社长严明，法国伊夫林省宣传、文化、旅游和体育厅厅长埃里克·第拉夫瓦，法国辽宁协会会长敖然等也做了致辞。最后，沈阳市委书记王新伟就进一步深化航空、汽车、新能源等领域合作，推动更多法国时尚品牌走进沈阳，加强高校合作办学、教师培训、科技成果转化，举办中法友好之夜等文化交流活动，向法国各界发出“城市之约”。

AIRS DE PARIS and SHENYANG

Several companies, including Airs de Paris, have signed partnership agreements with Shenyang. 2024 marks the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and France, as well as the year of culture and tourism between the two countries.

Aline Putot, a talented artist, represented the magazine’s project. The director of AIRS DE PARIS expressed her desire to create exchanges between the two nations and develop cooperation, particularly in the sectors of sustainable fashion, culture, art, and tourism.

2024年是中法建交60周年，也是两国的文化和旅游年。包括AIRS DE PARIS 巴黎灵感杂志在内的多家法国公司与沈阳签署了合作协议。

才华横溢的艺术家阿利娜-普托特代表AIRS DE PARIS 巴黎灵感杂志与沈阳签约合作项目。AIRS DE PARIS 巴黎灵感杂志执行总监也表示期望在可持续时尚、文化、艺术和旅游等领域，与沈阳共同开拓合作项目。

A workshop was held at the end of the conference to discuss the various ideas between Shenyang and France. This meeting aimed to explore and develop new avenues for cooperation between the two countries.
