Saudi 100 Brands in Paris

 

 

On June 19, 2024, Saudi 100 Brands enthusiastically announced an exclusive fashion show held at the iconic Palais de Tokyo in the heart of Paris’ cultural center.

Saudi 100 Brands is an initiative that celebrates the diversity and creativity of Saudi fashion. This unique event showcased a series of mini-runway shows featuring the Spring/Summer 2025 collections of eleven distinguished designers, drawing inspiration from the vibrant culture of Saudi Arabia.

 

 

Burak Cakmak, CEO of the Saudi Fashion Commission, expressed, « The menswear collections bring a fresh perspective to fashion, combining luxurious comfort with avant-garde designs that reflect the unique DNA of each brand. This showcase represents the voice of the young Saudi generation, eager to connect with the international audience through innovative and expressive fashion. »

The show attracted influential personalities from around the world, including Rawdah, Carlos Nazario, Nora Atal, Mishaal Tamer, Tamtam Bryan Yambao, Cameron Humphreys, Aissa Maiga, Xavier Romatet, Robert Triefus, and many others, adding to its global appeal.

To celebrate the dynamic cultural scene of Saudi Arabia, Saudi visual artist Rex Chouk created captivating animations projected on the LED wall of the venue, offering a preview of each designer’s collection before their mini-show.

The renowned Saudi DJ duo, Dishdash, performed live during the show, utilizing state-of-the-art sound systems to pay homage to the vibrant Saudi music scene.

The overall spectacle drew inspiration from 90s fashion shows, featuring an elevated runway that allowed guests to view the looks from a unique perspective, enhancing the visual experience of the collections. Following the fashion show, an exhibition was held at the Mona Bismarck hotel from June 20 to 22, where brands presented their complete Spring/Summer 2025 collections.

Saudi 100 Brands is a long-term strategic initiative by the Saudi Fashion Commission. Its aim is to support generations of Saudi fashion brands and contribute to the development of a sustainable local fashion industry. Through this program, exciting cultural bridges are built between the Kingdom and the rest of the world. The initiative also tackles important social responsibility challenges, such as promoting gender equality, empowering women, and supporting small businesses, both in Saudi Arabia and globally.
