Rodrigo Basilicati is an engineer, pianist, designer and architect. His deep convictions about sustainable development have led him to explore more ethical and responsible fashion.

To celebrate Pierre Cardin’s 100th anniversary, a fashion show was held at Palazzo Ca’ Bragadin in Venice on 2 July, a retrospective of the designer’s futuristic and graphic pieces evoking the conquest of space.

The new collection features Cardin’s signature silhouettes, such as trapeze skirts and geometric embellishments, with a focus on ecological responsibility.

Ecological bamboo fibre, fully naturally degradable and environmentally friendly, is one of the raw materials chosen for this occasion. A classic silhouette with surprising details gives this 100% bamboo fibre shirt an exclusive and modern touch.

After the Venice show, on July 6th, this shirt was presented at the Ecobamboo stand dedicated to sustainable fashion during the Première Vision trade show. Pierre Cardin wanted to express its belief in ecology and environment protection.
