At the heart of this ambitious project lies a poetic collaboration with HERALBONY, a creative enterprise dedicated to empowering and showcasing the talent of artists with disabilities.

An Inner Universe

Kunihiko Morinaga challenges the conventional idea of clothing as a mere garment, recasting it as a cartography of the self: a vibrant map of one’s inner world.

To bring this vision to life, he commissioned eighteen artists from the HERALBONY collective. Their dreamlike landscapes, their intimate worlds, become motifs. Designs of touching sincerity. They don’t just inhabit the fabric; they make it live. They make it palpitate.

The magic is achieved through KYOCERA’s sustainable FOREARTH printing technology, which enables high-definition printing while reducing water and energy consumption to nearly zero.

The result is stunning: each piece emerges as a spontaneous act of creation, preserving the natural softness of the fabric while bearing the indelible mark of a unique artistic vision.

A Living, Organic Silhouette

In Morinaga’s world, garments are never inert. This season, they quite literally come to life. Wired flounces, evocative of primitive organisms both baroque and psychedelic, form extraordinary eruptions around the body.

A dress inflates and deflates to the rhythm of a heartbeat, while the hems of voluminous skirts, jackets, and capes undulate with an organic grace, as if moved by their own breath. Each creation becomes a distinct entity, a living extension of the being who wears it.

The collection’s fantastical bestiary is embodied in ingenious accessories. In collaboration with the robotics startup Yukai Engineering Inc., Anrealage presents feline-shaped handbags, equipped with a tail animated by a metronomic sway.

Inspired by the soothing Qoobo robot, this accessory evokes the comforting embrace of a purring cat, adding a tactile and emotional dimension to the silhouette.

Continuing his sensory exploration initiated with Thomas Bangalter, Morinaga introduces a soundtrack created in collaboration with HERALBONY. This organic and evocative composition layers the primal rhythm of a heartbeat with the everyday « noises » captured from people with disabilities.

Probing the Boundaries of Perception

With this collection, Kunihiko Morinaga pushes further the ethos that has always animated Anrealage. He uses fashion as a tool to probe the boundaries of perception. How does each being perceive their environment in a unique way?

The collection invites us to contemplate the existence of two parallel worlds: our vision and that of others. Why do we perceive different landscapes from the very same place?
