Première Vision Paris, the event for fashion professionals, returns on 2, 3 and 4 July 2024. This event is a source of inspiration and creation in the fashion industry worldwide, promoting meetings and accelerating business.
Bamboo Union and Airs de Paris are partnering again, and have invited designers and artists to a new exploration of cultural diversity and sustainable development.

Exhibition
A bridge between cultures
2024 marks the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and France. Cultural diversity is a source of mutual enrichment. When different cultures meet and interact, it creates a synergy that enables new ideas to be developed in innovative ways.
In this exhibition, designers and artists from both countries have offered a new artistic expression through their creativity, highlighting cultural diversity and the values of sustainable development.

Imane Ayissi x Wang Ying
The interaction between fashion and art has given rise to some unique and innovative creations, where the two fields feed off each other to create rich and diverse aesthetic experiences. Imane Ayissi’s Ecobamboo collection was one of the highlights of the exhibition.
Convinced that fashion can be a vehicle for eco-responsible change, Imane Ayissi uses natural materials that have a low impact on the environment. A trailblazer, Imane Ayissi was the first designer to use Ecobamboo fibre during Paris Fashion Week.

Wang Ying is both a diplomat and a talented painter. His dual identity as a painter and diplomat has given him a humanist outlook and a unique vision of painting. His realistic and pictorial thoughts, both Eastern and Western, are his constant inspiration in achieving a unique style that is instantly recognisable to the general public.
The collaboration between the designers and the painter was born of their shared passion for cultural diversity. This collaboration fuses art and fashion in an inspiring way.

Wang Ying x Ecobamboo
Wang Ying appreciates artistic challenges. This collaboration represents a revolutionary advance in the field of art. Wang Ying has succeeded in painting directly on bamboo fibre fabric, becoming the first painter to carry out such an artistic experiment and adding a new dimension to his artistic creation.
This exhibition also highlighted Wang Ying’s artistic innovation with bamboo fibre fabrics. As a diplomat and painter, he was able to create harmony between diplomacy and art, merging two distinct fields into one.

Virginie Zurfluh x Jean-François Savornin
Virginie Zurfluh is a passionate fashion designer who has created the Héliquadrisme collection. The collection stands out for its unique prints, inspired by the paintings of Jean-François Savornin. Virginie favours the use of natural materials and combines artistic motifs with eco-friendly fabrics.
Jean-François Savornin is a renowned painter and the inventor of the Heliquadrism movement. This movement consists of painting pictures in pairs, so that they are different but on the same theme. These paintings become one when they are brought together.

The collaboration between Virginie Zurfluh and Jean-François Savornin has resulted in a collection of clothing that combines art and fashion in a unique way.
The prints, inspired by Savornin’s paintings, add an artistic and original dimension to Virginie’s creations.

Heyaner
The circular economy has become a major concern in the fashion industry. This approach aims to reduce waste and encourage the reuse of materials, thereby contributing to greener, more sustainable fashion.
For the past thirty years, Chinese designer Heyaner has been committed to developing a circular micro-ecosystem to reuse natural textiles. This approach is part of a wider trend in the fashion industry to adopt more sustainable and environmentally-friendly practices.

L’Atelier Solidaire
L’Atelier Solidaire not only responds to the need for tailor-made creations, but also integrates social and environmental values.
This approach helps to promote a circular economy and create opportunities for people who are far from the job market, while raising community awareness of the importance of reusing and re-using materials.
Isabelle Chalin, the workshop’s seamstress, who has 40 years’ experience working for leading fashion houses, has redesigned the toga, the emblematic model of ancient Greece, using a bamboo fibre fabric from Elyaf tekstil.

Reborn Factory Creations
In her workshop near Vannes in Brittany, Catherine Bernard makes bags for women and children, as well as toys, with the constant aim of offering original, sustainable and authentic products.
Inspired by eco-design, Catherine has come up with a more sustainable craft, conscious of the importance of reducing textile waste. She chose to use used fabrics to give new life to materials that would otherwise be thrown away. Using scraps of bamboo fabric, she creates original and unique bags, highlighting the beauty and durability of this natural fibre.

Han Yang
Han Yang has reinterpreted the traditional Chinese Qipao dress by injecting it with modern elements and innovative details. Her clever use of eco-friendly bamboo fibre fabric brings a unique and modern touch to the Qipao dress.
Her designs emphasise the values of traditional Chinese aesthetics. Han Yang pays exquisite attention to detail and respects tradition. Her work is more than just a garment; it is a tribute to and a legacy of traditional Chinese culture.

Qian Shan Lu
Qian Shan Lu has designed tai chi outfits with a more contemporary style, using bamboo fibre fabrics. This approach demonstrates her ability to fuse tradition and modernity in her designs, offering a new perspective on traditional Chinese clothing.
Tai chi outfits are often associated with Chinese tradition and history, but Qian Shan Lu has succeeded in reinterpreting them in a modern and innovative way. By using bamboo fibre fabrics, he adds a touch of sustainability and ecology to his creations.
