From March 25 to 27, 2026, Airs de Paris occupied SIUF as a space in its own right: a living laboratory where creation, reflection and innovation converged.
More than a simple participation, this presence was conceived as a genuine immersion into a constantly evolving ecosystem, where fashion is no longer confined to production or presentation, but becomes a field for cultural experimentation, critical reflection and international dialogue.
Within this vibrant environment, both creative and industrial, Airs de Paris proposed a singular perspective: a breathing space within the acceleration of contemporary fashion, where clothing is considered beyond its commercial or aesthetic functions, as a cultural language in perpetual transformation.
A territory of dialogue, transmission and experimentation at the crossroads of craftsmanship, imagination and emerging global dynamics.

A Space of Resonance
Published in French, Chinese and English, this special edition reflects an editorial approach rooted in the circulation of ideas and the dialogue between cultures.
More than a publication platform, Airs de Paris positions itself as a true laboratory of intercultural creativity, a space of resonance where perspectives, artistic practices and contemporary imaginaries intersect.
The publication does not simply document contemporary creation; it reveals invisible correspondences, places artistic approaches into perspective, and brings forth new narratives at the intersection of fashion, art, design and societal transformation.
Through this edition, the ambition is to weave connections between creative scenes that may be geographically distant yet profoundly linked by a shared sensitivity to the contemporary world.
In a rapidly shifting international context, where borders are being redefined rather than erased, Airs de Paris affirms a vision of culture as a living movement, nourished by otherness and driven by the desire to understand, transmit and create collectively.

Fashion as a Sensory Experience
At the heart of this edition, a singular space emerged as a true sensory interlude: a showroom conceived as an immersive experience where material, image and gesture entered into dialogue.
Orokhia Tirera, founder of the French fashion house Silk R Paris, embodied this edition as ambassador of Airs de Paris.
Through her presence, she gave form to a subtle dialogue between French elegance and the emerging creative dynamics of the contemporary Asian scene.
Her collection, naturally presented within this space, revealed a distinctive approach to silk, a material deeply symbolic of the historical exchanges between East and West. Each piece became a narrative: an exploration of a quieter form of luxury, where time, gesture and the memory of craftsmanship regain their full value.

Yet the showroom extended far beyond the realm of fashion alone. It opened an unexpected dialogue between textile and contemporary art.
The works of Jean-François Savornin, founder of the Héliquadrisme movement, were transposed onto silk scarves by Virginie Zurfluh, giving rise to a series of creations in which image becomes material and silk transforms into a surface of artistic expression.
This sensitive collaboration created a dialogue between visual art and textile craftsmanship, in an approach where creation is experienced as much as it is contemplated.

B2B Encounters
Beyond its creative dimension, SIUF has established itself as a strategic platform where innovation, industry and vision converge, a territory of exchange where the contours of tomorrow’s fashion are being shaped.
Within this context, Orokhia Tirera engaged in dialogue with several major figures from the Chinese textile sector, including Huang Zhaohui, Fashion Director of the Fashion Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce; Huang Ping, former Secretary General of the China Fashion Designers Association; and Zhang Guoying, specialist in Suzhou’s silk industry.
These exchanges opened new perspectives for Franco-Chinese collaborations at the intersection of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary creative dynamics.
At the same time, the discovery of innovative initiatives such as Bamboo Union, which explores the potential of bamboo as a sustainable material, opened new avenues of reflection around a more responsible fashion industry, attentive to natural resources and environmental balance.

The Intercultural Dialogue of Creativity
In an international context marked by profound transformations, the conference was held in video format. Far from limiting exchanges, this configuration instead opened an expanded space for dialogue, where geographical distance dissolved in favor of a living circulation of ideas, experiences and sensibilities.
Through perspectives drawn from the worlds of art, fashion, innovation and social reflection, the conference highlighted emerging forms of cultural cooperation across territories and disciplines.
Marc Bayard, Director of Research and Innovation at the French National Institute of Cultural Heritage and the Manufacture de Sèvres, proposed a reflection on the future of Franco-Chinese collaborations through three fundamental dimensions: nature, craftsmanship and innovation. His intervention emphasized the importance of living heritage as a catalyst for creation and intercultural dialogue.

Hawa Sangaré, founder of Hawa Paris, presented an engaged vision of fashion, conceived as an act that is simultaneously aesthetic, social and responsible. Through the revalorization of unsold luxury goods and the development of a model fostering women’s autonomy, she advocates for a form of creation attentive to contemporary human and environmental challenges.

Jehane Meghoufel, Director of Digital Transformation at Santé Cie, emphasized that international collaborations in the fields of well-being and healthcare also constitute a way of building lasting bridges between cultures.

The artist of Aline Putot-Tupuri shared his/her experience with the stylist Imane Auissi, thus offering a vision of cultural dialogue fully attentive to the mutations of the contemporary world.

The painter-designer Fabien Fabre enriched this collective reflection by opening up cross-cutting perspectives, where artistic practices, technological innovation and societal questions echo one another.

Jean-François Savornin, for his part, shared his artistic approach through the prism of Héliquadrisme, inviting audiences into a sensitive exploration of the relationships between perception, space and creation.

Through these exchanges, the conference revealed an intercultural creativity understood not as a juxtaposition of influences, but as a living space of transmission, experimentation and collective reinvention.
Toward a Truly Intercultural Fashion
Through its presence at SIUF, Airs de Paris affirms a conviction: the fashion of tomorrow will not be uniform, but profoundly plural.
It will no longer be defined by dominant centers, but by circulations, encounters and hybridizations. Fashion no longer merely undergoes the transformations of the world; it actively participates in shaping them.
Between France and China, between heritage and innovation, a new creative cartography is emerging: a fashion that no longer simply represents, but connects, questions and builds.
A fashion that ultimately becomes a shared language.
