On March 5, 2026, at the Maison des Métallos in Paris, the Global Fashion Collective (GFC) unveiled its Fall/Winter 2026 presentation as part of Paris Fashion Week.
Bringing together eight international designers from Japan, the United States, Canada, and India, the event once again reaffirmed its role as a vital platform for contemporary global fashion.
Through its Paris–Milan FW26 program, GFC championed a plural vision of creation, where innovation, craftsmanship, and cultural diversity seamlessly converge.
True to its mission, the platform continues to support both emerging talents and established brands, fostering meaningful intercultural dialogue at the heart of one of the world’s most influential fashion capitals.
Reactivating Heritage
Among the standout moments, july et nico offered a deeply sensitive and thoughtful approach to the garment. By reactivating vintage kimonos, the designers created a subtle dialogue between past and present.
Carefully restored, each piece preserves its original integrity while being reimagined for contemporary wear. More than reinterpretation, the collection unfolds as a reflection on transmission, memory, and the garment’s place within a living cultural continuum.

From a different perspective, JUMPER ZHANG explored the theme of the “Circle,” drawing inspiration from traditional Chinese circular floral motifs.
Through intricate embroidery, appliqué, and layered textiles, the collection unveiled a refined aesthetic in which symbolism and craftsmanship seamlessly converge, evoking a sense of continuity, balance, and harmony.

A New Generation in Motion
A defining highlight of this edition was the Graduate Runway program, led by Global Fashion Incubator.
For its third presentation in Paris, the initiative brought together more than sixty emerging designers, notably from ISDI Atlas University, alongside a project from the Vogue Institute of Art & Design. Offering rare international visibility, Graduate Runway continues to establish itself as a powerful gateway into the global fashion landscape.

This dynamic was further embodied through compelling collaborations. Bahar Kianpour, with her collection LACRIMOSA, delivered a poetic exploration of memory and trauma. Navigating between fragility and resilience, her silhouettes transformed the runway into a deeply immersive emotional experience.

Meanwhile, Perry Jones, in collaboration with Graduate Runway, presented Pt. IV: L’Éclipse, the final chapter of a narrative inspired by lunar phases. Through contrasts of shadow and light, structure and fluidity, the collection reaffirmed a storytelling approach to design, where each piece becomes a fragment of a larger narrative.

Freedom of Form
CFT. marked a pivotal moment in its evolution with the collection SHIFT. Through a restrained palette of greys, browns, and blacks, the brand approached transition as a natural, almost meditative process. Softer, more open silhouettes expressed a search for freedom and movement, revealing a quiet, introspective elegance.

At Brunette the Label, inspiration emerged from the balance between ease and refinement. Blending a West Coast sensibility with touches of Parisian elegance, the collection played with rich textures and precise tailoring, offering a contemporary vision of understated, accessible luxury.

Finally, Call and Response Clothing presented Afterparty, an evocative immersion into the suspended atmosphere of late-night hours. Metallic leathers, fluid velvets, and deep tones conveyed a restrained sensuality, where elegance reveals itself in the most intimate moments.

A Platform for Ideas and Talent
Through its Fall/Winter 2026 edition, the Global Fashion Collective reaffirms its position as a true laboratory of ideas and talent.
By uniting designers from diverse backgrounds and fostering dialogue across disciplines, the platform continues to shape and redefine the ever-evolving landscape of contemporary fashion.
