This season, UJOH’s signature minimalism is infused with a touch of insolence, fueled by grunge energy and a rock spirit inherited from the 1990s. True to its artisanal philosophy, UJOH places material at the center of the creative process. Some fabrics in the collection are woven on a Schönherr machine from the 1960s, installed in Japan, operating at a pace five times slower than modern looms.

This slower rhythm restores time to the fabric itself, revealing unexpected nylons, translucent textures, and surfaces rich in character. In an era of accelerated production, this approach stands as a quiet manifesto: slowing down to restore value to material.

Silhouettes in Tension
